Web Hosting
Web hosting is offered on multiple cloud based servers in data center facilities leased from RackSpace.
The locations are physically secure, redundantly connected to multiple internet backbones and regularly backed up.
Up to three email addresses are offered as part of the basic web hosting package, as well as SFTP access, custom databases and access statistics.
The benefit of hosting your web presense with DSI is having a one to one relationship with your hosting provider located on Kaua`i,
possessing the server root access and requisite skills to implement whatever is needed in support of your individual requirements and agenda.
Basic domain or website hosting is billed at $30/month for static commercial sites, or $40/month for database driven sites with custom interfaces. Up to three email addresses are offered as part of the basic web hosting package, as well as SFTP access, custom databases and daily access statistics reporting. Additional email addresses and email aliases may be configured as needed. SSL Certificates are available upon request.
Domain Name Registration
DSI runs a domain name registrar under eNom and bills $24 per year on new registrations or transferred registrations. We know from experience that it is critical to the future of a customer's internet presense to maintain a valid email address as the registrar contact on a domain name. We recommend to check your whois record for your domain name and note the expiration date and registrar contact information on an annual basis. Please contact DSI for any questions about domain name registrations. We have helped many customers extricate their domains from registrar accounts that have become inaccessible due to lapse in valid contac1t information or other difficulties.
